Soda Roast

This is a simple recipe that is also very versatile (see below).

  • 2 – 3 lb beef roast
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 –  12 ounce cans of soda (I’ve used pepsi, coke, root beer, dr. pepper… whatever dark cola you like)
  • 1/2 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup of worcestershire sauce

Season your roast before placing in a 3 – 5 quart crock pot. Pour both cans of soda, soy sauce and worcestershire sauce over roast. Cook on low for 7 – 8 hours. If you would like to add some root vegetables, you can throw some in around the 4 hour mark (I just use onions, carrots and potatoes). When done, serve to your favorite friends and family (they’ll be thankful (-: )

    • I highlighted the receipe portion on the screen. In the upper left task bar select ‘file’ then ‘print’. Then choose ‘selection’. Be sure to select the correct printer. This worked for me. But it probably depend on the type of printer you have and how the printer is set up. I have Brothers printers. You could also search the internet on how to print a section of a document which may give you some additional hints.

  1. right click anywhere in the recipe and a menu will come up with a print option. click on that and proceed as usual.
