Kristy’s Slow Cooker Lemon Pepper Chicken

Kristy at Mommy Hates Cooking wanted something basic but simple when she made this Slow Cooker Lemon Pepper Chicken. It looks like she got all of that plus more! Check out how she did it…..

This photo belongs to Kristy… I’m just showing off her great work :)

  • 1 whole fryer chicken
  • 1/2 – 1 cup of lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons of lemon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder

Mix the lemon pepper, garlic powder and onion powder in a small bowl. Make sure you have incorporated them well. Use half of the seasoning mixture on each side of the chicken. Place the chicken in at least a 4 quart crock pot. Pour 1/2 cup of lemon juice over top of it. If during cooking you think you need to add more liquid, add an additional 1/2 cup lemon juice. Cook on low for 4 – 5 hours.
