Slow Cooking Saturdays Recipe Swap ~ Sweet Fondue Recipes

This crock pot chocolate marshmallow fondue is so sweet and easy to make. I thought it would be better late than never to share this with y'all and let y'all share your sweet fondue recipes for the crock pot (I realize it's not Saturday, but since it was Christmas yesterday, I'm sure y'all will forgive me for the delay).

Here's how I do it:
  • 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (7 ounce) jar of marshmallow fluff
  • 1 (14 ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup of evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
In a 1 1/2 - 2 quart crock pot add all the ingredients. Turn to low and and place a paper towel under the lid (using the lid to secure the paper towel). This will catch any condensation and keep it from dripping down into your fondue. Stir the fondue to incorporate the ingredients every 30 minutes. You will probably have to do this 2 - 3 times until everything is melted and smooth. After mixture is completely melted turn to warm setting and serve with dippers such as pretzels, angel food cake chunks, fresh fruit and marshmallows.

Now it's your turn to share your favorite crock pot fondue dessert recipe. Here are a few guidelines to sharing:
  1. Make sure your fondue recipe is for the crock pot.
  2. Link directly to your recipe post and not your homepage. This way everyone can find your delicious fondue dessert in the future.
  3. Mention on your post that you shared your recipe here at Crock Pot Recipe Exchange (just good blogger/ sharing etiquette).
  4. We're all just trying to meet other crock potters so HAVE FUN!

This sounds absolutely wonderful and I bet it was so smooth and creamy. What a fun holiday or winter food. We do a lot of fondue parties and this would be great! Have a wonderful New Year!

This sounds so good! I'd think bananas would be great dipped in this mixture. I have a small crockpot that will be just perfect for this.
