Crock Pot Baked Potatoes ~ My First YouTube Video!

After many emails, messages and comments requesting more videos about crock potting I made the jump. I started a YouTube channel for Crock Pot Recipe Exchange. YAY! This is a very exciting new chapter that I've begun and I look forward to making many videos in the future.

If you are a facebook or twitter follower of Crock Pot Recipe Exchange you've probably already seen this first video. I decided for crock pot baked potatoes to be the first because (1) It's super easy to do and (2) I've found a lot of people didn't even know it was possible.

  3. Thanks for the feature Cris! With summer on our heels I'm using the crock pot more than ever. I love the thought of not having to heat up the entire house by turning on an oven! Keep on cROCKing :-)

  4. I noticed in your video that you had only one layer of potatoes. Can you bake a second layer to make more at one time?

  5. Absolutely Shiela! I fill my biggest crock pot up most times. The water is to give them a steamed taste and texture. You can fill it as full as you'd like, just adjust your cook time.... looking for them to be for tender. GREAT question!

  6. I made these yesterday. Genius! There was a heat index of 126 degrees and heating up the house was not an option. I absolutely LOVE your blog and Pinterest boards. My friends and family all used to think it was strange that I use my slow cooker so much--now I have them doing it too! Thanks for sharing!
