After many emails, messages and comments requesting more videos about crock potting I made the jump. I started a YouTube channel for Crock Pot Recipe Exchange. YAY! This is a very exciting new chapter that I've begun and I look forward to making many videos in the future.
If you are a facebook or twitter follower of Crock Pot Recipe Exchange you've probably already seen this first video. I decided for crock pot baked potatoes to be the first because (1) It's super easy to do and (2) I've found a lot of people didn't even know it was possible.
Keep the comments and suggestions coming. You never know what new is going to come out of it!

Excellent idea....I love my crockpot! I look forward to more videos and great recipes.
ReplyDeleteLove this idea! And love the new channel. Featured you today on www.GOODEnessGracious.com
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feature Cris! With summer on our heels I'm using the crock pot more than ever. I love the thought of not having to heat up the entire house by turning on an oven! Keep on cROCKing :-)
ReplyDeleteI noticed in your video that you had only one layer of potatoes. Can you bake a second layer to make more at one time?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Shiela! I fill my biggest crock pot up most times. The water is to give them a steamed taste and texture. You can fill it as full as you'd like, just adjust your cook time.... looking for them to be for tender. GREAT question!
ReplyDeleteI made these yesterday. Genius! There was a heat index of 126 degrees and heating up the house was not an option. I absolutely LOVE your blog and Pinterest boards. My friends and family all used to think it was strange that I use my slow cooker so much--now I have them doing it too! Thanks for sharing!
