I was thinking the other day about how much I love using fresh strawberries to cook with (I think it was because I saw them on sale in the grocery store). Then I instantly wondered if I had ever shared with y’all my crock pot strawberry and dumplings recipe. This is something my granny and mama made quite often when I was growing up. Through the years as I’ve mentioned this recipe to friends, I’ve come to realize this was a regional (southern Appalachian) recipe.
