Warming Rolls In Your Crock Pot

When I cook one of my one pot wonders or a nice soup or stew in the crock pot usually my only accompaniment to that is some kind of bread, biscuit or rolls. Since I’ve already got the crock pot on and really don’t want to turn the oven on (it heats up the whole house and burns unneccesary EXPENSIVE energy) I simply wrap whatever rolls I want to heat up in the aluminum foil and place them on top of the food in the crock pot. Yes, it’s that simple…. I usually add the wrapped bread the last 30 – 45 minutes of cooking time and it is completely heated through. *NOTE* This is not intended to COOK bread, but only to heat it up. I would not recommend using raw doughs to do this with.
